Blow molding is a conventional manufacturing process that uses custom molds and polymers to create hard, hollow plastic parts. 
Custom carrying cases are frequently made using this method of shaping plastic. Because the process uses molds, final pieces can be built to exact sizes and shapes. Besides custom designs, there are other advantages to consider when shopping for cases.
Blow molding reduces the steps in production, and so turn-around time for products is much quicker than with other shaping methods. Fewer steps in the manufacturing process drive down product costs.
Blow molded cases are strong, while also being relatively light. Our cases can withstand bumps, drops, and scratches without any damage. Metal cases are strong, but they are more likely to deform than a blow molded case.
Blow molded cases can be made air/watertight. For those that travel with their gear, protection from the environment is essential. You may not be bringing equipment into a marine environment, but you may need to carry your stuff during a rainstorm.
Blow molded cases have colors built into the plastic, which means that final colors will not fade or scratch. Metal is painted, and that paint will scratch off with extended use.
